Okay, so I've been thinking a lot about monitors lately. I'm really enjoying my ViewSonic VX2728J; the 180Hz refresh rate is super smooth for games, and the IPS panel gives me nice colors, which I need as a budding digital artist. But... I'm starting to wonder if I should think about something with a higher resolution for my productivity stuff! Like, would a jump to a 1440p or even 4K display make a *huge* difference in how much I can comfortably fit on the screen at once? I've seen folks raving about the [Pro Display XDR by Apple]( /monitors/apple/pro-display-xdr), though that's probably overkill (and way out of my price range!). Perhaps something more reasonable, like the [TUF Gaming VG27AQ by ASUS]( /monitors/asus/tuf-gaming-vg27aq), would be a better step up, performance-wise, while still offering decent colors? What are people's experiences with higher resolutions for everyday work, not just gaming? Just curious what everyone thinks!
